Rosemary Grapefruit Splash

Dry January is a great way to experience the benefits of going alcohol free. Over the past few years, I’ve done quite a few periods without alcohol, and I really noticed the benefits. So much so, that this year I decided it was time to cut it out of my life completely. There were more than enough reasons…

Alcohol has been classified as a Group 1 carcinogen (like asbestos & smoking tobacco) by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. There’s a strong association with several types of cancer (1, 2), & it’s been shown that even those who drink no more than one drink per day have an increased risk (3). These risks, along with the myriad of other health risks that increase with alcohol consumption were enough for me to take a second look.

The zeroproof movement is having a moment, and it’s only going to grow. There are so many wonderful alcohol alternatives on the market, including the one used in this recipe. There’s no better time to take the plunge and go alcohol free. But no matter if you’re doing Dry January or a dry lifestyle, this drink is a nice addition to your zeroproof cocktail menu.

Place the Grapefruit Juice in a glass with ice.

Add in the Gin & Rosemary Simple Syrup.

Stir.

Top with Club Soda.
